Product Training - Ubiquity™ Webinars

The quarterly Ubiquity Webinars are designed to help new and existing customers become familiar with TCS Basys Controls energy management system, Ubiquity™. We offer two different webinars on the same day, each tailored to a specific level of user. All webinars include a presentation followed by a question/answer session.

The webinars are held on a single day in February, May, August, and November at the times shown below.

Standard User Webinar
(75 min plus 15 min q/a session at end -- limited to 35 attendees)

A detailed introduction to the Ubiquity™ interface focusing on the Enterprise Home and the Site Home pages - what information is found there, how to navigate them, and how to customize each section. The session will also include overviews of Controller Programming pages, basic reports (graphing, user access summary, and alarms summary), scheduling, global programming and scheduling, subsystems, energy policies and alarming.

Topics covered include:
  • Tour of the Enterprise Home page including (general navigation, explanation of contents, and customization of the interface)
  • Tour of the Site Home page (general navigation, explanation of contents, and customization of the interface)
  • Tour of Controller Programming page (schedules, setpoints, calibration, and comments)
  • Review of scheduling details (if needed by attendees)
  • Review of basic graphing reports and introduction to user access summary and alarms summary
  • Review of alarming details (creating basic alarms, editing, and archiving alarms)
  • Review analytics applications
  • General introduction to global changes (programming, scheduling, alarming)
  • Introduction to performance reports, compliance reports, energy policies, and controller groups/subsystems
  • Review of Ubiquity™ Lite

Advanced User Webinar
(45 min plus 15 min q/a session at end -- limited to 15 attendees)

A review of specific sections of the Ubiquity™ interface and/or advanced features as needed/requested by the attendees (this may include all of the main pages PLUS global changes, performance reports, compliance reports, energy policies, or controller groups/subsystems). The session will also include a general introduction to the Admin areas within Ubiquity™ (i.e. User Admin, Region Setup, Enterprise Admin, Utility, Operations, Performance, and Benchmarks) and a tour of the advanced Reports (Performance/Compliance and Utility/Financial Impact).

Topics covered include:
  • Basic Review (Site Home page, Programming, Scheduling, Graphing, Alarms, Global Changes)
  • Review Analytics applications
  • Review Energy Policies
  • Introduction to Subsystems (VAV, Superzone, Loop / Supply Loop System, and Controller Group)
  • Tour of User Admin, Region Setup, and Enterprise Admin (if needed by attendees)
  • Tour of Admin pages including Utility, Operations, Performance, Benchmark, and Enterprise
  • Open Discussion on attendees site specific issues
