TCS is a leading manufacturer of building automation controls systems (BAS) and the publisher of a cloud-based energy management software (EMS) platform. We are seeking to add an exceptional salesperson to our Middleton-based sales team, selling our cloud-based energy management solutions to regional and national building owners and end users. This position will focus on small to mid-sized facilities – branch banks, restaurants, retail, – with multi-site presence looking to install or enhance their EMS platform to reduce both energy and operational expenses. TCS provides scalable and affordable solutions for multi-site enterprises that have traditionally missed out on the cost-saving advantages of building automation.

Our enterprise account executives build client relationships, grow market share, educate clients on best solutions for their needs, and prepare and submit sales proposals to prospective clients. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • General technical aptitude
  • Ability to call on C/VP level executives and define needs
  • Energetic, self-starter with the ability to adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce CRM familiarity
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience selling in various vertical markets such as retail, restaurants, healthcare, K-12 schools, government etc.
  • Effective communication skills both in person, over the telephone – verbally engaging.
  • The ability to recognize business growth opportunities as well as steer customer conversations to maximize those opportunities.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent/relevant experience preferred.
