Enterprise Sales Rep – National Accounts


National /Enterprise Account Executive – Headquarters Based ● Demonstrated success in multi-level sales process.

● Developing and selling to corporate decision makers
● Experience in selling energy efficiency concepts and EMS services of HVAC and Energy Management Solutions
● Five-plus years of experience in enterprise sales, or eight years in sales related to corporate customers.
● Proven track record selling in vertical markets such a retail, restaurants, financial institutions, and nationwide building portfolios.

Temperature Controls. Specialties (TCS) is a Midwest developer, manufacturer, and servicer of commercial temperature controls and software to serve building automation systems (BAS) customers through a cloud-based software (EMS) platform. Customers of TCS utilize the software service by purchasing controls of HVAC, lighting, and electrical metering, and installing the system throughout the U.S. The cloud service, known as Ubiquity, provides their staff, service agencies, facility managers, energy managers, or other users, the resources to achieve energy optimization, service improvements, facility management, and ESG initiatives.

A successful candidate will be experienced in delivering energy management solutions and managing energy savings through hardware and software controls of HVAC, lighting, and energy metering. The position is based in our Middleton, WI (Madison suburb) office and manufacturing facility. The account executive will develop and engage clients in growing their portfolio of facilities onto Ubiquity with the installation of TCS controls and integrated systems. A professional sales presence will make the appropriate contacts to qualify potential customers, assess their needs, develop solutions, present TCS’s offerings, demonstrate the system, coordinate the delivery, and introduce the support team to the customer.

Current successful customers of TCS are medium- and small-sized facilities such as branch banks, retail (mall and stand-alone), restaurants, and wherever multi-state locations are maintained. TCS provides scalable and affordable solutions for multi-site enterprises that have struggled to implement energy management of HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

● Personality to service corporate decision-makers, facility managers, property management, and nationwide service providers.
● Mechanical aptitude to understand commercial building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and utilities.
● Ability to communicate with corporate and executive-level customers and develop and deliver services.
● Energetic, curious, and self-starter who can adapt to customers’ highly dynamic work environment.
● Demonstrated prospecting aptitude with moving and advancing to a sale.
● Building system knowledge of HVAC systems, lighting, and utility sources.
● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
● Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and CRM, preferably NetSuite
● Driven to produce a high level of activity of customer contact, managing multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture.

The ideal candidate will have:

● Experience selling in various vertical markets such as banking, retail, restaurants, healthcare, K12 schools, government etc.
● Effective communication skills in person, phone, email, text, and social media.
● The ability to recognize business growth opportunities as well as steer customer conversations to maximize those opportunities.
● College or technical degree or equivalent/relevant experience preferred.
